I am a pickled ginger fiend. By that I mean I eat it on its own, once or twice a day, only stopping when my mouth is on fire. This is strange, but it also makes me exceptionally qualified to rate this stuff. I ordered Roland Sushi Ginger from Amazon because pickled ginger is hard to find locally and relatively expensive (and it's that awful pink wel-pac stuff with the really chemical, salt taste). This brand is by far the cheapest I've been able to find. I was initially turned off by the taste because it's made from "shoga" (mature ginger) instead of "shin shoga" (young ginger). Shoga has a woody, crunchy texture and a spicy kick, while shin shoga is smoother in texture and flavor. But after a few days of noshing on the Roland stuff, my palate adjusted to the difference. Now that I am out of the Roland brand and about to reorder, I have realized just how disgusting the Wel-pac stuff is since picking up a jar at the grocery the other day. What I love about Roland is that it is all natural, and the ginger is not overwhelmed by unnecessary chemicals and additives. 4 stars for price and purity, minus 1 star due to the maturity/woodiness of the ginger and the wildly varying thickness and size of the slices.

These packages, there are SIX 1 lb ones of them in the box ( I will be eating on them for a 3 or 4 years if I don't give away half) have very tasty pickled ginger. It has just the right amount of spiciness and "heat" to me.

However it is very lacking in two other key attributes of sushi type pickled ginger.
* First, a good bit of the slices are TOUGH and made from it seems very large, overly mature ginger root. (It does get "woody" when large or older.)
* Second it is very thickly sliced, whereas quality sushi ginger is very thinly sliced. I can therefore only give this product VERY average acceptable rating.

I have no idea if it even worked! Had the worst bug season on record! They at my maple trees alive! The bugs that is! So I can't review this product properly! Although my veg garden had no insect problems!

I bought these on faith since they are microscopic. I really have no idea if they are in my soil or not. The reason for this rating is that I also bought lacewing eggs at the same time from the same seller and they were a bust. Not only did I not get any lacewings, but the seller told me I couldn't see them either and will not do anything to rectify the problem. I know I should be able to see lacewings and with the attitude I'm guessing these were a bust as well. Save your money and put your faith in something else!!

But after a colleague brought some of the coconut creme coffee to work, I found the coffee to be unlike any other flavored coffee I had had. It really struck a fancy with me, and when I got home that night, I ordered the Coffee Masters Coconut Creme and enjoy every cup of it. It's good coffee and the price is fair.

I received this as a gift and LOVE it! It is obviousely very cute, but it is also very sturdy and well made. The heel comes off so you can wash the stainless steel portion in the dishwasher. No woman or girl who has seen this has failed to "ooh and ah" over it, and want one for themselves! Even the guys like it - it is sexy and has to do with with cake, what more can they want?
