HORRIBLY MADE PRODUCT. ONE OF THE SCREWS BROKE THREW THE FAKE WOOD AS I WAS WORKING ON AN OPPOSITE SIDE, NOT ABLE TO REPAIR. CHEAPLY MADE, SCRATCHED UP, SWIVEL DOESNT STAY INSIDE THE HOLE SO IF YOU TRY TO MOVE IT ACROOS THE FLOOR THE WHOLE RACK WANTS TO TIP OVER. I ALMOST JUST THREW IT AWAY BUT I'M GOING TO TRY AND MAKE IT WORK. VERY DISSAPOINTED. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

My husband and I love this DVD rack. It's very spacious, but compact, using space efficiently building up instead of out. The directions were a little tricky and we had to take it apart and start over a couple times, but once we were on the right track, it was very easy to complete. Whole assembly process took us 1-2 hours but if you get it right on the first try, it could take under an hour. There were two screws we couldn't put in and I think it's b/c the corresponding holes they were supposed to be screwed into were drilled in the wrong place. DVD rack still works, and I doubt those screws will be missed, but time will tell. When empty, the rack feels a little unsturdy/shaky, like it might fall over and be torn off the base, but once we put stuff on it, everything is fine. Overall, we really love this product so far.

As for the shipping, I might be wary purchasing from this seller again b/c they did not ship the product until well after the expected ship date. They took so long, in fact, that I became concerned we had been swindled. And even after they claimed they had shipped it with ups, it still took over a week for the package to get into ups custody. I guess they purchased a shipping label but hadn't actually shipped the product yet. Despite the fact that we got this about a month later than we were promised, the product itself is very good. You will have to determine if the value of a good product is worth the worry of terrible shipping.

Very sturdy, even on carpet (like the other reviews say). I had another media tower and whenever you would put CD's on it, it would start to fall over and your CD cases would break. This thing, however, is a beast! I never worry about putting "too much" on it. Its tall, but only takes up a little bit of space. It holds so much! My old stand that I used to hold my 360 and PS3 games was filled. This thing holds my games on 2 and a half shelves! After putting all of my CD's, DVD's, video games, Blu-ray's, and other assorted stuff like my Seinfeld refrigerator box set, I still have about an entire side of it empty. Highly recommended if you have a lot of stuff and you don't want too take up to much space
