I have two little girls sleeping on it, both less then 40 lbs.(I'm sure they jump on it every now and then) but it's already breaking. The wood that hold the rails under the mattress are cracking and falling down on the bed under it. The wood it soft. Shows damage. Hey good news it came on time.

I love the bed and so does my son.......the planks of the bed are soft wood so needless to say my 3 year old broke one but that was because the mattress took some time to arrive.

We just got this bed and it is great. It does have a smell but that is expected from the finish and is fading. The wood is soft so my husband used a small wood block to hammer on. Definatly need an electric screwdriver....It took him a couple of hours to assemble but he said it was user friendly. The trundle is great as it rolls out and is not attached so can go whereever.The bedd is really nice. Note: It is pretty tall. I gave it four stars because it did have a few very small flaws. Nothing worth returning just not 5 star.
