we bought these first years true fit car seats for our boys two years ago. they held up amazingly well to the daily grind of twin boys. then, we were in a side impact car collision. these seats did exactly what they were supposed to do!! i did not hesitate to order two more to replace the damaged seats.

I didn't want an infant car seat because I knew I would never be able to lug it around anyway so we got the True Fit for my car. I have a Chevy Equinox and it fits fine in the middle of the back seat. The back seat of my car can slide forward and back, so I don' think we will have any problems when it comes to using the head rest. My daughter is just about a year old, and she is long, but small and it is still working great for us.

We had it installed by a professional car seat person at a hospital and they really liked the seat. It installs very easily once you are shown how to do it properly. We did have to put pool noodles under the front end of the seat to get a proper recline, but the installer said that it is common for many car seats. When she was a newborn I didn't like how much her chin seemed to be on her chest. We went back to the hospital installer place and talked to them. After calling the company with the installer, we decided to take out the head/infant insert which made a huge difference. Customer service was very helpful.

It is easy to use the tab to adjust the strap tightness once you get a hang of it. Initially, I found it difficult, but now it is a breeze. I really love the ease with which I can adjust the height of the shoulder straps. I love how comfortable she seems in it.

I have emailed customer service to find out how compatible this seat is with the new regulations.

A big con, which has been mentioned by other reviewers, is that it is a very large seat, but that isn't a major problem in my car.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this car seat. This is the 2nd one that I've bought. I love that the cover comes off easily and washes up great. I also love that it has it's own seat belt latch built in to to help keep it nice and snug if you are not using the cars anchor system.
The first one I bought was pink flowers, I wish they still had more color options. But overall this is the BEST car seat and has a GREAT price! I recommend it to everyone!
