I purchased this desk based on the overall stellar reviews from others. When I purchased the product, I believed it would be a great and painless free purchase. I received the package fairly early, but the problem with it is that it looked like the box had been opened up countless of times. In addition, the styrofoam looked like it was chewed by rats. It seemed I received a table that had been returned from a previous owner.
Packaging was not good.
Worse yet, the glass is all missing. I got all the parts, but the glass is MISSING. All of it. So, I'm in the process of working it out. If getting missing parts is painless and they ship fast, I will change my review. But at the moment, I am very disappointed.

This desk is great! I shopped online for about a month before deciding on this desk. The desk arrived on the date it was promised and was just as it was described. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. I am a girl and I am NOT the fixer upper type but I put this desk together in about an hour and a half all by myself. The desk is very sturdy and the glass is heavy, it's not going anywhere! The desk looks great in my home office and I would recommend it to anyone who is trying to get a sleek look for a good price.

This desk is perfect for my home office. The L-shape creates the perfect setup for monitors and computer hardware on one side and then functional work space/desktop on the other. They keyboard tray can be put on either side which is a nice option for folks like me who don't like keyboard trays. (This isn't specified in the instructions, but the desk body support bars are the same length, so it's an easy change). The keyboard tray is nice and deep, so I was able to put a medium sized desk organizer in it to create an impromptu drawer. I also use this in combination with a dual monitor mount ([...]) so that I have plenty of room on the monitor side for keyboard, mouse, USB hub, flight stick, speakers, etc.
The additional shelf is very nice for displaying brik a brak and the space under the shelf is perfect for keeping spindles of blank DVD-R/BD-Rs.
Did I mention it looks great too? I would recommend this desk to anyone who's looking for a sturdy, sleek, and reliable desk to add a modern touch to their home office.
If seeing cables make you cringe, I would highly recommend a box of cable ties and maybe a power surge organizer. The only downside to a glass desk is that it's a challenge to hide cables.
