This is what I consider the next generation of George Forman Grill. This one is now plugged in and sits on top of my counter all the time. My
Wife and I use it for any meal any time of day. It cooks quickly without a load of grease splatter and smoke. The grill plates clean up very
quickly. With the extra plates you have an endless capability to cook what you want.. My family has had George Forman Grills for many years.
They are a durable product that does the job you expect in a short amount of time. We just don't turn on the stove or oven much with this great
"George".
if I was going to complain, about the only think negative I can say is that it has a short electrical cord. I had to add a 3' extension so I could move
it around on the counter.

I can plug this in and have the bacon cooked crispy in about 10 minutes or less, all the grease collected conveniently in the tray. It's great to make grilled sandwiches, burritos, french toast. It's been nice to use it in the heat of the summer so I don't have to turn my gas stove on to cook anything. Very easy to hand clean in the sink, or just wipe off with a paper towel. I don't use the quesadilla plates at all. Just the grill plates, and sometimes the griddle plate.
2 things to consider:
The plates seem to click in only one specific configuration, so you may have to try putting a plate on the top, then the bottom, then rotate, and then it finally fits and snaps in.
The handle IS too wide/tall. When I open the lid-especially if the grill is in the tilted position-the handle BARELY fits under the kitchen cabinets, and that's even with my abnormally tall cabinets. So it is hard to open all the way sometimes.

My wife wanted this grill cause it drains the fat from the food, delivery was fast, the grill works and it's easy to clean, just make sure you clean it right away so the food won't stick permanently.
